Short breaks in Dinan

Dinan is without doubt one of the most attractive and best-preserved medieval towns in France. Its long medieval ramparts, cobbled streets and half-timbered houses are lined with a delightful array of art galleries, local artisanal craft shops and a wealth of cafes, restaurants and creperies emitting the mouth-watering aromas of local traditional food.

A fantastic town to explore on foot, from the 13th century castle to the bustling Place Duguesclin market square where you can meander through the delightful market every Thursday morning.

The winding, cobbled streets will lead you to the timelessly picturesque riverside of the old port and 15th century stone bridge across the river Rance. Relax by the river and while away your time. Enjoy a tasty lunch as you watch life go by on the river.
