St Malo

Visit this glorious historic walled city. Choose to walk along the ancient city ramparts, take a stroll through the cobbled streets or discover the wonders that the French shops have to offer. This unique city has so much appeal – whether you are a foodie, history lover, culture junkie or a combination of all three, you will find something of interest and can get lost in the city’s beauty and charm.

Dinan

Without doubt one of the best-preserved and beautiful examples of a medieval town in in the world. Known for its medieval ramparts, cobblestone streets and timber houses. A must visit destination for historians, art enthusiasts or just those wanting to browse its numerous arts and craft shops.

Rennes

A vibrant university city and Brittany’s administrative capital is worth a day or two of anyone’s time. Watch the world go by in the bustling Place St Anne, admire the impressive parliament building or relax in the Thabor gardens, there is so much to do and see here.

Dinard

A very ‘British’ resort, popular with families that are attracted to its sandy beaches and coastal walks. Dinard was France’s top summer resort until the French Riviera took over in the 1930’s. Why not take a walk through the resort and admire its fabulous villas and rows of stripey beach tents, or plan a visit for the annual British Film festival in October?

Normandy

This region is just a short hop from the Channel Islands and offers a great destination for a relaxing break away. Its varied coastline includes the white-chalk cliffs and WWII beachheads, sites of the famous D-Day landings. Visit the city of Rouen, dominated by the Cathedrale Notre-Dame or take a trip to Bayeux to view the famous Bayeux Tapestry depicting the events of 1066 and the battle of Hastings.

Guernsey, Sark & Herm

Only an hour away by ferry, Guernsey offers stunning coastal walks, the cosmopolitan capital of St Peter Port and the beautiful sandy beaches. Combine it with a visit to Sark with its unspoilt landscape, horse drawn carriages and starry night skies or visit Herm and take in the relaxing environment, flawless beaches and spectacular views of the French coast.

You may want to venture further afield and visit the French capital to experience its magically familiar landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe and Sacre Coeur.
